Inspiring Your Creativity in 2012

New Year’s Eve is a time for both reflection and planning, for appreciation for all of our accomplishments and for dreaming big for the upcoming year.  Here at Cool Blue Souls, we are appreciating our increasing number of subscribers and celebrating our accomplishments of 2011.  We published to this blog 200 times last year, including posts on five different books and daily prompts since July 5, 2011.  As with all creative endeavors, we have followed breadcrumbs and turned over stones to see what works and what doesn’t.  Cool Blue Souls has evolved for us in this process.

We started this blog in 2010 with this post and a mission to inspire and connect with other creative souls. It warms our hearts every time we see a new subscriber to the Smash365 prompts and renews our commitment to serve you in that way. We take this commitment quite seriously; we each believe that inspiring others is part of our life purpose.

Therefore, as we look ahead to 2012, we renew our own pledge to inspire you daily and feed your muse with the Smash365 prompts.  We intend to take you on a journey with inspiration from archetypal themes, art, music and writing related to each season of the year.  We are excited about creating a more interactive site with links to pictures and music that will inspire you.

We also sincerely invite you to share your journey and connect with other Smash365 subscribers through links here or on our Facebook page. We have built this blog together because we place such a high value on creative collaboration and have seen first-hand the expansion of inspiration from working with others. As we shared in that first post from 2010 and now reaffirm here:

Creating is holy work that we should honor.  If universal divine energy inspires you with an idea, it is because that idea wants to be shared with others.  That is why we are here together – to share and learn from each other so that we can all expand and experience joy.

If you haven’t already joined us, there’s no better time to start than now.  Take the Pledge for Smash365 Prompts.  They’ve always been free and will remain free to your inbox daily.

With love, happiness, and appreciation,
Rus + Cara
